WHY MINDSET MATTERS?

I find this quote speaks to the root of many of the problems we face in our daily lives as athletes. So often we are fixated on what resides in our conscious mind but we neglect what is playing in our subconscious mind. However, like the iceberg image shows, if you solely pay attention to the former, then you only get half the picture.

In the same way that an athlete must dissect their physical skills in order to improve, there is value in exploring the depth of our minds.

HOW CAN A COACH HELP?

Now, if you are with me thus far then we can agree that in order to fully understand ourselves, we have to be willing to dive under the surface and see what is really going on below. This process can be challenging, intimidating, and confusing as there are times when the water can be murky.

A mindset coach is there to serve as a guide. Although I can never walk the path (or swim) for you, I can help make the process of mental exploration just a little bit less daunting. Together we can turn what may feel like an overwhelming process of self-exploration and turn it into a productive, meaningful, and value-driven experience.
